Well its as it sounds. This is my first blackberry and if I leave it in the messages screen for what appears to be a random amount of time it deletes all my messages.
    Any ideas?

Use the search tool and look up memory optimization. You need to get rid of the useless crap on your device. If you have pics or videos on your phone and do not have a media card, you need to get them off as it will take up massive memory. FYI, device memory and a media card or memory card as some call it, are two completely different things...

I was once in your shoes, every thinng getting deleted and my BB was runnin sluggish. Then I found this website-best out there. I would follow Stoner's guide for memory clean-up-I'd post the link, but it won't let me. It's under the how to & FAQ section in the forums, titled how to increase file free memory. It's very good and pretty self explanatory. Also, this is a good time to upgrade your OS to 4.5 as well.
