Sounds like you were typing on your SureType device... Lol. It's always putting "yo" instead of "to" which makes me upset.

I also do not think VZW will clean it for you. Call them up before heading down there.

Would be nice if you can wash your ball. I need a good cleaning too. 8310 is only 2 weeks old, and I can see this may be a problem.

On the Blackberry support page they suggest pushing the trackball down and rolling it around while it's pushed down. I find this helps sometimes.

LOL. This thread is making me giggle. I've had my Curve for a while now and my ball is still clean and white. Maybe everyone should wash their hands before playing with their balls....and after!

LOVE THE THREAD!!! I had a problem with a sticky ball. It wouldnt scroll down...rather...it would roll....but not scroll on screen. Side to side and up worked fine.....just no down action. So i grabbed an alcohol wipe, and rolled the ball with it....cleaned it right up and no more sticking!!! Cleans balls for all!

I really dont think its as much a dirty ball ,mine is more a linty ball problem,,an alchaol wipe wouldnt work on my ball if its lint around the ball itself

I was going to suggest to take more showers lol but you can clean it yourself I think there is a guide somewhere.

I find when I wash my hands with purell and just use track ball it cleans itself

you can search on you tube on how to take out your trackball and clean it but it's not easy

Taking the ball out is not that hard, just make sure it's at a higher temperature, if it's cold it makes it much harder to pop out...

my ball gets tight when its really cold...its kinda rough too. keep on waxing your balls people and itll all work out
