    Hi Newbie here. When making a call, my Pearl shuts off after 15 seconds. It seems that when I go in to "manage connections", the mobile network has shut off and I need to press "restore Connections".
    The network will continue to work until my next call and then it will shut off again after 15 seconds and I have to repeat the process. Any help out there?

    Start with a battery pull. I have a feeling, however, that you may need a new phone.

    How is your battery life? If it is too low it will turn the radio off.

    Then it's not your SIM card.

    There was a similar thread a week or so ago, and the end result was a phone replacement. You still under warranty?

    Thanks for the effort. I already bought a new Pearl and I gave the broken one to my son. I guess dad is going to have to cough up the dough for a new phone.
