Just recently the message counter has been defaulting to "1" when I clear all messages from the device. The message count indicator works fine otherwise (i.e. it will count upwards as messages come in), but when I use the "delete prior" option to erase all messages...it stills shows that I have 1 (when there are '0').
I have removed/replaced the battery, rebooted with no luck.
You were right! I had saved an unopened message to my 'saved messages' folder. Whenever I checked before, I was checking only my 'desktop' email message folders.
I have an opposite problem. When I get a new message my message indicator won't increment at all on the icon for the individual mailbox. I am using gmail. I have a curve 8330. I've reviewed all the settings and I'm going nuts. Anyone encounter this?
