    I have inserted a (formatted) SD micro card in my blackberry, but my Bb won't recognise it !
    When i go int options->media card it keeps saying ' a media card is not presently inserted in the device'

    Help ?

    How is it formatted, I had my Pearl format my card for me and it came up as Fat32 on the PC, so I'm assuming that BlackBerrys prefer Fat32.

    Uhm, no idea. B/F formatted it on his pc because my Bb would'nt even give me the option to 'format card'.

    I've had 2 diffrent cards in my bb a sandisk 2 gig and some cheap 8 gig no issues with either out of box into bb worked as expected

    SOLVED IT ! Took the battery out of the phone and put it back in, and the media card and now it works ! Weird but hey, i'm happy !
