Yep, the folded paper fix is quite popular.
Never heard of that one. Wish I would have known before I lost 2 battery doors on drunken adventures to the bar. Now I have silicone skin.

I have the OEM silicone case in white on my Pearl, which is the purple (please please please make an OEM case in the same shade as the phone....do you hear me RIM?) and I really like it. It does not collect lint like other silicone skins can at all.

I like it a lot. It's the BlackBerry skin. It's super thin and protects it pretty well if you drop it. It has a sticky feel to it which is a + and a -. It's good for if put your phone on the dash of your car, or anywhere for that matter, it doesn't move at all. But, it kinda doesn't want to come out of your pocket if you put it in there. It tends to want to stick to your fabric. Also, no more accidental pushes of the side camera or voice call buttons.
Their OEM cases are expensive in store, $20. But you can get the OEM cases on Amazon for $6.

Yes I noticed the loose cover too. I recently just got my blackberry and was thinking about asking for another cover from the local sprint store, but from what I've read its just a flaw. Fixed it myself by cutting a piece of napkin...

Just unpacked my 8220 Pearl. I really like this phone, but the Battery Cover is sure loosey-goosey...both horizontally and vertically. Guess I better go to my nearest TMobile

I priced the back cover for the 8130 (was not worth it to me) so instead I went on ebay & for $8.00 I got 5 or 6 of the silc case covers which not only protects the back door cover but it also protects my phone.

Yeah my door is also loose on my 8130. It seems to be able to move side to side ever so slightly, and I find it annoying. I normally have the BlackBerry rubber skin on the phone to protect it, in which I don't even notice the problem anymore. At least I know that i'm not the only one!
