i really dont feel like researching, so please help me out. i bought my fiance a pearl 8130. and i tried putting opera mini on it for her and it recommended she use the older version, where as my 8830 ran the new version just fine. what version of OS should her phone have on it to get the most out of the device...... or is the software on the phone not an issue and the older version of Omini just the best for the screen size? thanks for any help.... if im not specific enough let me know and remember it is new years eve, actually day where im at but very early in the morning.

The OS on the phone does not matter, the only reason I see for it reccomending an older version would be that Opera has yet to update to the new 4.3 OS on the 8130, this is just an assumption though

I am running the newest version of Opera Mini in an 8100 Pearl with 4.3.1 OS. It works fine.

Your 8130 has a pretty new OS on it. There really aren't any major upgrades you can do to it.
