    Hi I just purchased a used 8130, how do i access the internet on it? I don't see an icon for the web.

    I see 27 icons, none of which is the internet icon

    Go to options>advanced options > hosting table. One there press the blackberry symbol button. It will say register now click that after you receive a text saying internet registered do a battery pull again. If that don't work I suggest reinstalling it again which I don't know hoe to do.

    ok I have a globe now and it says browser when I have it highlighted but it does not have that arrow around it. When I click it, it has me at the area to create an e-mail account

    When you send that message from Host Routing Table what does it do? I am only able to access the internet on my BB8120 when the wi-fi is connected I cannot access it otherwise, why is this? Is it because I need BIS? On my other phones it has just connected me anyway and charged me for the useage? Why is it different on the BB's

    It should have registered your internet. If you don't have one already I would suggest getting a data plan BB with out the intertnets just don't seem like any fun.

    i think the first question is do you have a DATA plan if you have a data plan when you send the service books the Internet Icon will show up
