It seems like a pretty easy program to use, however I notice it is slow, comes up "NOT RESPONDING", locks up, etc. I have a brand new computer. Anyone else notice this or anyone have suggestions.

What version of Desktop Manager did you install? I have heard grumblings about 4.3, so I use 4.2 SP1 and don't have any issues using Media Manager with my 8130.
Roxio Media manager is horrible, even on new systems it has a tendancy to lag and display that "non responding" white screen, I always find the best method is to use drag and drop for transferring files, but if your encoding video and such ...well thats a whole 'nother ball game.
