I am wondering why I can only do over-the-air installs on my phone. When I try to download to my PC and then use desktop manger I get the great message "No Additional applications were found for you device" even though the AXL file is right there. My OS for the pearl is v4.3.0.71 and my desktop manager is 4.3.0.15. Please help.

    Thanks,
    Torrey

Download your handheld OS to the PC, install it, and all will be fine.

I am usually pretty good at the tech stuff even though it doesn't appear to be that way so I just go to the website, select my service provider and phone, select OS which is 4.3.0.71 and download that, and once completed it will load onto my PC? Thanks for the help.

No it didn't but I got it working I think. For some reason the USB port I was using stopped working. I tried another USB port and from there it installed the driver and seems to be putting the applications on the phone so we shall see.

Atl least you can download ota. With my IT policy, i'm stuck with only the orginal OS or whatever update comes out.
