so i took the battery out when i cleaned the trackball. The battery was fully charged when i took it out. Finished the trackball, put the battery back in and it says the battery is dead. Can anyone tell me what happened?? the battery life was great before this happened.

First off, mske sure your contacts are clean. That is where I would start.
