Help! My phone is great about alerting me to e-mails, but the call log is useless...it just says "type a name or number to make a call" and the phone does not alert me to new voice mails!, and I cannot view my missed, dialed or received calls! Anyone???

From the call log screen hit menu and go to options. Click call logging.

open phone > menu > options > general > phone list view.

To clarify...The same place I sent you. But go under general instead of call logging.

Are you not getting ANY voice mail notification?

If not you may have to call your VM and make sure notification is set to ON that way.

Also under the call log options, go to voicemail and be sure your number is in there.

To add on to this i have Phone List View set to: Call Log

The Call Log is located by:

okay, so far so good, atleast now I can see my call log, thank you. but, it does not show a difference between missed, dialed, incoming. Like an x for missed? maybe this phone does not do that. And as far as voice mail, it said I do not have a notification number? Phone is still not telling me of voicmails. Don't laugh, I know nothing of this phone, but I love the challange an appreciate the help!

Ok, your call log should show missed, received, etc...Not sure why it's not. Under call logging, was it marked for none, all calls, or missed calls?

So there wasn't a number in there for your voicemail notification? Did it allow you to put one in there?

No laughing here...we all struggle at first.

Well, under call logging it was "all calls", but now that I looked that up, I again have lost my call log! HA! I have no idea how I got it last time, just hit a bunch of options, but under my options, there is no 'general options', but there is one on my call log options, (if you follow). oh, and the voicemail did not give me an option to put a number in.

What do you mean you lost your calls? They have been deleted? Correct, the general options I was talking about is under the call log options. Be sure phone list view is set to 'call log'. And under the voicemail options, you should be able to input your 10 digit cell number.

okay, well that's it for today! Thank you, and I have set my phone to 'call log', but it has not shown me previous calls. oh, and my phone rang twice and I had one voicemail, but no blinking light and it did not tell me I had any missed calls! Whatever for today! thanx. enjoy your feast tomorrow.

I don't know if this helps but I press alt 3 for incoming and it shows me everything. Also alt 7 shows just voicemail.

I also make sure the mailboxs are combined and then everything is in one place.

    Hope maybe this helps.

Happy thanks giving even though we had our a month ago!
