    Following on from this one.

I have kindly been given a Curve 8900 by someone who was on o2 network.

I have rest my BB and the wizard guides me through set up. It takes my contacts from my o2 SIM card but I cannot make or receive calls. The wizard does not seem to set up the phone options and my number does not show on the top of the screen when in phone setting.

I am sure it is something really simple but I am a complete cabbage when it comes to technology so any help you can give me would be gratefully received.

    Cheers

Have you called o2 and told them you got a new phone and they put it on your account? You may have to do that
