Hi,

I have an 8130 and I am annoyed by the voice mail notification that gets dropped in the sms box. When I listen to the voicemail the notification doesn't disappear like it does on a normal phone. The voicemail icon goes away but the alert that was dumped in sms stays there until I delete it and it looks like I have a text message. Anyone know how to get rid of that? I already have my missed calls separated out and I also have my text separated from email.

Not much you can do about it, it's pushed by the carrier. Some have said you can call VZW and ask them to quit it, but not sure how successful they've been. It's a PITA.

Thanks for the reply. My only gripe is that it doesn't happen on other Verizon handsets, just the Blackberry.
