So I just got a new pearl and the Alltel guy said he coudln't totally transfer my contacts from my old phone to this one. He emailed me my contacts in a .cvs file and told me to import them to outlook. Can anyone give me better instructions on how to do this?? Thanks!

Switch device only works if you were previously using a BB. I don't think the OP was using a BB. Hence, the reason the rep emailed them to him in a .csv file.


Open Outlook on your PC and under I think the File Menu is an option to "Import". Select that and follow the directions using the.csv file as the file you want to import.

Actually jimmers dm 4.6 can switch any device that will connect to the pc. Even still dm is easier. It will see the .csv as a backup.

I feel completely computer illiterate right now. How do I get them from Outlook to my BB??

Sync with DM. You may have to configure sync to sync BB and Outlook both ways.
