i'm not sure what happened but my messaging and call settings got all messed up. when i send or recieve a text message it only stays there for a few minutes then disappears. they all used to stay there until i deleted them manually.
also, my call log used to say wether or not i placed a call or recieved it, now it just lists random names. can anyone help me
You are way to confused in regards to operating your phone. You should read your manual and all the newbie guides on this site.
Memory card does not add to the overall memory of the device. You have the internal device memory, which the phone and all applications are on, and then a memory card where you can store videos, ringtones, music, and pictures.
Any ringtones, music, pictures, and videos that you have need to be moved to your memory card. Also follow the advice in the link I gave in my previous post. Remove any applications that you do not use. The optimize your BBs memory thread, if followed, will definitly clear up your problem.
Just to prove my point here, go to Options > Status, and tell me what you have under File Free.
Click the green phone looking thing to get to your call log. Then go into the menu and click on options. Go into call logging and there you can choose between missed calls or all calls or none.
yeh i have that set for all calls, but when i first got the phone after each call it would show an image that showed wether the call was missed, outgoing, or incoming. thats the setting im looking for
As far as I know, there isn't a way to change that, at all. Is your call log completely blank still from the memory dump? There should be absolutely no reason why you don't have those indicators in the call log.
