Why do my email recipients see my personal contact info on them? For example, my friend Joe Smith, knows I have him down as "Fat JOE" in my address book now! I tend to do this to remind me of who they are. I have 4 friends name Joe, and this makes it easier for me to keep track of who's who. Can anyone tell me if I can stop my email recipients from receiving this info on their " TO: " " FROM: " section. Does anyone know anything about this?

im not really for sure but i did get a quite a giggle on that one lolol im sure someone will be along shortly lol

That was pretty funny. I think the bb just uses the first and last names from the address book, so best bet is to use "Fat Joe" in the company name since that shows in the lookup results but not in the email address.

Thx for the 411...however, problem is that when that person calls me...it won't come up as their ID...so, I won't know which Joe is calling me until I look up the address. But do appreciate your help...glad you got a kick out of my dilemma though..lol.

For incoming calls and emails, you could do caller picture ID-dont have an answer for incoming texts tho.

One thing I like to do on mass emailings is to use the blind carbon copy. This way I'm not sending out everyones email that may not want there email sent out to everyone in the world. If I remember correctly none of the recipients will see anyones address but the senders, including their own.
