My LED has turned a solid Red color. It's on all the time and is only off when I pull the battery out. My phone does still charge. I've done everything to get rid of it even wiping my blackberry and upgrading the software. I read something about Blackberry Music Gateway? I do use my pearl to listen to Pandora everyday and iheart radio with a 3.5 cable that plugs into the dash of my truck, but it never did this before. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

alright lets start by getting some basic info
what os are you running?
have you recently installed a new theme?
or have you installed a new app that changes the led colour or modifies it?
when you say its on the screen isnt black with solid red led you can move around launch apps etc but the lights just solid?
It turned solid red before I wiped it and loaded 4.0.5.169 and has stayed solid. I can opperate my phone just fine and it will still flash blue for the bluetooth and red for new messages, just will keep the solid red in the back...

no new theme? if not you may have to downgrade your os then reupgrade something might have glitched when going on
Yeah I remember seeing this in a blog post a few months back because my wife has visual voicemail with VZW and it used to make her led stay on all the time! That app fixed it with no problem. It's extremely light weight and effective... although I have never used it on a Pearl
