Whenever I use a GPS program (such as Google Maps or Trapsters) it states that it is unable to use the GPS. Does my Pearl 8120 even have a GPS feature? If so, how do I activate it?

    Thanks!

Those directions are confusing rachaellarae. It makes it seem as though the 8120 does have the GPS function, you just have to turn it on. However the instructions for doing so do not work on my phone.

Here's your explanation, from the second paragraph of her file:

    Activating or deactivating GPS

NOTE: GPS is only available on the device by using a Bluetooth GPS receiver.* For more information about pairing a Bluetooth device, go to Bluetooth (BlackBerry Pearl™ 8120™).

You don't have a GPS, so you have to use an external bluetooth puck, like the Freedom Keychain 2000.
