What are all the options available for me to use with GPS on the 8130?...is it only available with certain plans??, if so, how bout the 30$ plan?, and is it its own program on the phone, or does it just work with maps etc.....
Since you're with Sprint, your GPS should be unlocked, meaning it should work with any program that uses GPS and is compatible with the 8130. Most GPS programs do use data though, so you need to have a data plan, and the $30 a month plan will give you unlimited use of it.
From what I've heard, Verizon locked down the GPS on their 8130 and requires a monthly addon to use it. You shouldn't have that issue with Sprint. Unless of course you decided to use a premium program that does charge you access, like mapquest or something.
