Hey guys what's up? My friend has a Sprint 8130 and he is using it for MetroPCS. He is using OS 4.3 and he wants to upgrade the software. Will the flashing done to his phone get erased if he does? Thanks.

"flashing" a phone is really just a fancy way of saying "changing the PRL, browser and programming the NAM". I would recommend backing up the PRL and browser just for safe keeping. The NAM will not change during an OS update.
