    Welcome to CrackBerry.

If you have an encrypted media card, you can re-format it using Options / Media Card / Format Card.

Make sure your Encryption mode is set to None.

thanks, i was thinking along those lines, i just was hoping for something less cumbersome. i think the card HAS to be formated to work in the BB, right? then i can re-copy the stuff i want back to the card using media manager? thanks again, jim.

The simplest way is to use Window file mangager to do your copy. Windows will treat it like any other removable storage drive.

Media Manager does see your device memory, but nobody copies to that.

is that the same thing as the "system" folder? Oh, and i'm a mac user... if i can delete the "system" foder, move everything off the card, reformat in the device, then plug in and move everything back onto the card, that should work... right? I've never encrypted any of my "personal" folders... music, photos, voicenotes, etc. so, i'm thinking that the "encrypted" data must be related to purchased applications that were on my old 8130? anyway... that's what i'm going to try and i thank you for your help.
