Yeah that Seidio battery is SLIGHTLY bigger than the original battery. With the one that comes with the phone, the back cover is already a little loose. So, when you changed to that battery it filled it out so it wasn't loose, then changed back it just made it that much worse. I think most Pearls have that loose battery door issue.

Reason: Left Stuff Out

Why would the Seidio battery make it worse? I don't remember mine shaking before.
mines a little loose with the normal one, and the other battery is thicker. It's just gonna shake a bit. If you don't want it shaking then put the Seidio one back in. It would make it worse because since it is slightly bigger then it might stretch it fill it out more. That"s just my opinion btw.... but I do know that one's bigger.
As someone mentioned, sticking a piece of folded up paper (acts as a shim) between the battery and battery cover is the simplest & cheapest method to keep the cover snug on the Pearl. Had same problem on another non-BB phone. Battery connection became loose over time. The paper shim did the trick. Eventually the plastic clips holding the battery on the phone broke after I dropped the phone one too many times . A couple of well-placed tiny screws took care of that problem. Battery has never come off since .
The Seidio battery is indeed a bit thicker and does cause the battery cover to bulge a tiny bit (barely noticeable). That might also stress/deform the plastic cover and the corresponding mounting clips on the Pearl itself. So when you switch back to the normal battery, the cover may now be a tiny bit looser then before you put in the Seidio battery.
Solution : use a thicker paper/shim now. K.I.S.S. or put the Seidio battery back on
