Hi guys,

I've had this phone for about 2 months now. I was on a business trip entire last week and texted a lot, which I normally don't do at all. And a lot I mean 10-20 messages a day. I was trying to use the phone today and all of a sudden none of the keys worked. It was almost as if it was completely dead. I pulled the battery and it eventually re-started fine.

Did my phone crash on me real bad? Have you had this happen with your phone before? If so, what's normally the cause of that?

FTR, I don't have a data plan and haven't updated phone's OS either.

Sounds like you ran out of memory. Do a search for the memory optimization guide and you should be all set.

What I found is mainly how to free up storage i.e. file memory. I've consistently had free file memory shown around 28Mb. So, I'm no sure if that's applicable.

I wonder if the problem had to do with some sort of memory leak. Weird.
