I am brand new to my blackberry pearl. And somehow when i call out and have to press 1 while on the phone (or any number for that matter) it comes up in letters. I have turned something off and Idk what it is.
Also, did something else to it last night where when i want to go check a text it scrolls and highlights everything. It won't let me select a single text by itself or move from one single text to another... HELP!!!
Sounds like your shift and ALT keys are stuck. It's not a used phone, is it? You'll need it replaced, or replace the keypad membrane in it. That would be what I expect is wrong.
