I use to be able to delete my messages by pushing Alt and scroll with the track ball and chose delete. But now I can't can someone help?

Just go to the current date in your Messages, press Menu and select Delete Prior.

I know I can do that but I don't want to delete everything prior just what I want too. My daughters 8130 will do this and mine would up to today. I don't know if some how I changed some settings.

You can do this by holding down the shift key (the key to the right of the Zero key), scrolling to select the group of messages you want to delete (they have to be consecutive, I think), and then hitting Menu, Delete Messages.

Works nicely for me.
