Got a question about custom ringtones for the Pearl. What kind of software do I need so that I can make my own ringtones? Where can I get it? Got somes songs that I want to get just a few seconds off of and can not figure it out. Thanks for the help.

If you are using mostly MP3s, download "Audacity" from Free Software Downloads and Software Reviews - Download.com. Its very easy to use, you can edit any mp3 and then save it as an MP3.

You can use http://makeownringtone.com for this purpose. It's free. And it's a bit less complicated than using Audacity.

I've been looking for some kind of program too, so there is a program that came with our BB? I bought the 8120 back in April and I was using my old samsung PC studio which worked awesome but then I upgraded it and now I can't use it because I had to actually have a samsung phone connected to it for it to work

I use Audacity all the time and then save the ringtones on a microSD card to save memory on the Pearl. It's very easy to use and I can save a lot of ringtones and switch them at my leisure.
