Is there any way to turn off the blinking on my 8120 while it's charging. That little LED is very bright when the lights are out and I'm trying to sleep.

P.S. I love my phone and this site is too sweet !

No way to disable the LED while device is OFF while charging... but if the device is ON while charging, the LED will not blink.

thanks to all for the quick response, mabye I'm just old school but I thought it was bad for the battery to leave the phone on while charging (shorter battery life)

There's absolutely no adverse affect on battery if charged while device is ON.

The very first night I had my BB I charged it right next to me on my nightstand. I woke up in the middle of the night wondering where all that darn light was coming from. LOL. Unplugged the charger and went back to bed.

Now I charge it downstairs in my kitchen.

If you download the BlinkBerry demo and run it, turn on the lights for a minute and then press end call. Voila- yellow LED off. That's the low-battery LED by the way.
