I've had my Pearl 8130 for over a week now and my call log keeps clearing itself. The numbers or names will be there for a few hours, then they all clear out. I like to use the send key to call ppl back, it's so convenient so it's really frustrating me! I used to have an 8703, and I never had any issues with that. However, since day 1 I've been having issues with my 8130. It's annoying and I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

Yes, it is a known problem. Check how much memory you have on your device, utilzie a media card, and do a hard reset everyday until the RIM fixes the problem.

Yes and I 've had my Pearl 8130 for 3 day now and my call log keeps clearing itself as well .The numbers or names will be there for a few hours,and or till the phone rings again and then they all clear out. . Yes i have read reviewes and the Advice above But it's still clearing the call log.The most I had was maybe 5 calls then all gone.( file free 2530664 bytes ) Hmmmmmmmmm.... Got Any Ideas?

All of the above help the situtation but their is no resolution. This is a known problem.

Verizon told me I have 15 days to return the phone for replacement.But what good would that do if its the Software. I hope this issue is fixed for this call log just clearing it's self . Could this be just a setting that I have over looked for the last 4 days in all the fourms. By the way how come there not more post on this call log problem?

Its A Setting ! .... Go to Call log - menu - options - General options- scroll down to Phone List View Change to Name or Most Recent menu then save . All #'s should return. This worked on My 8130 . Hope this works for you .

ok so you're pretty much the bomb THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! That worked for my whole call log. Do you know how to make it stop deleting your text messages, and emails without you telling it to???
