I'm trying to figure out why my wife's 8130, when trying to load a web page, the browser changes from "Requesting.." to "Waiting..", and then finally to "Loading.."

I have not seen this at all on my 8830, and really would like to know what it means.

Any help would be appreciated.

It's normal. It's just the stages of page loading and communicating with the server.

That seems likely, except sometimes it takes over 2 minutes to display a WAP page, and that's with excellent signal strength.

Is there anything else that could be going on?

Is she at FULL EVDO when this happens? Sounds like that could be her problem if pg is taking that long to load. Switch over to home screen and confirm that she indeed has 1XEV when this occurs and not 1xev or 1x.

I'm pretty sure she is at full 1XEV signal strength.

I have asked her to try a different web page next time this happens.
