OK, i have the 8130 for verizon but i dont want silver, on cnn.cn can i use the housing for the 8110 and 8120 (i would have posted a link but it wouldnt let me). i dont think the keyboard would work, just everything else. could i use it is pretty much my question

As far as I know you should be fine there really is no difference between the 8110 8120 and 8130 other than software like wifi and GPS the phones are basically identical as far as I know so you shouldn't have any problems!

get the sprint 8130 case

The 8130 has the camera in a different location and the cases are different, just try to find a dummy phone on eBay, the cases are usually pretty good.

well i was on the website and compared the 8110/8120 housing to the 8130 and they looked like they have the same ports and camera location.....i am getting mixed answers anybody like 100% sure?

Between the three of them there pretty much the same the only thing you need to pay attention to is the back of the phone where the camera goes.

if the housings all work except for the Battery door due to camera location, what about the Keypads? Are they all the same?

Check blackberry.com and compare devices.
This will tell you the size differences. The key pads are different on some models and the camera is either vertical or horizontal, depending on the series that you have.

I was also interested in a white housing ( which I can't find anywhere!) so I looked into this... the housings for the 8100 are different. the camera and the keypads are different. the 8110, 8120 and 8130 are all the same! i checked.

Bell (canada) has white ones, i just received my all white 8130 from them last week

The housings for 8130's are the same as 8120/10 but not the 8100, I changed my silver pearl to all black using parts from cnn.cn and a keypad from ebay and its all black now
8120 keypads don't work on 8130's tho
