I've bought a Blackberry 8120 last week but it is from carrier Telefonica Movistar, but I want it with another carrier, so I went to a place where they told me that It can't be unlocked only 8100 can be unlocked, is this right? I really want to unlock it, so could you please tell me a web page where I can unlock it (Remote via IMEI)

Any GSM phone can be unlocked with the right code. Not all unlocking dealers will be able to provide a working code.

T-Mobile has the 8120 for sale, why didn't you buy one from them?

I'm from Mexico and I bought it online and It comes from Spain, Here in Mexico there's Movistar carrier but I don't like it, I prefer Telcel, Becuase my cell phone number it's with this carrier and I don't want to loose it I tough I will find someone to unlock it But I haven't been lucky, so I would appreciate if you tell me where can I buy an unlock code for Blackberry 8120
