I need to reinstall my pearl OS and wondered if I would be better using the carrier specific version (BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.5.0.75 (ORANGE UK))
Or the latest one (BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.5.0.174 (EastAsia)) and taking out the carrier information? Or will it make any difference?

Personally I'd go for the latest and greatest (.174) any bugs in the earlier version may well have been fixed in this one,

If you read the 4.5.0.174 thread you should get a feel for whether or not it performs better than .075.
