    No. An 8130 is a CDMA-only phone. It does not have GSM capability.

    You may be thinking of the 8120. The 8120 is a GSM Pearl that is carried by AT&T and other GSM carriers. The 8130 is a CDMA Pearl. I'm looking at RIM's site. They don't list any GSM carriers as having the 8130.

    There is no SIM card in the 8130, so it cannot be used on AT&T.

    Thanks for the confirmation. I've never owned an 8130 and have been CDMA so long I tend to forget about SIM cards.
