I know there are threads here discussing video compatibility issues with OS 4.5. But I havent been able to get some cut and dry answers as to a breakdown of supported video codecs and bitrate limits for each. im assuming 320X240 is the biggest we can go right for resolution? any source for this info would be appreciated.
and to clarify... videos on my old 4.3 worked. after the upgrade to 4.5 all them failed to play. I would definitely say this is a 4.5 lack of support issue. unless there is a hidden setting that turns off codec support.
well have have fully reset the system with softreset program. I assume this is the same thing as a battery pull as it is completey turned off for a sec.

I still have not found a solution to the video problems with OS 4.5 and it's abbreviated codec library...but I am getting closer to resolving the problem. My theory is that a combination of OS modules will provide the expanded Codec library of OS 4.3 with the modified media player of OS 4.5, but I have yet to isolate the .COD that contains the Codecs in OS 4.3.127
