I've noticed something recently on my Sprint Pearl 8130. I travel quite a bit and use the alarm for my wake up calls. When on the road, I use the USB cord to charge the Pearl and the alarm sounds off as expected.
I've tried to use the alarm at home and noticed that the Pearl only vibrates when connected to the plug-in charger. As soon as I disconnect the charger, the alarms sounds and vibrate stops. When I plug it back in, the sound stops and vibrate starts again.
Is this a defect in the software? I don't see anywhere to change the settings. I would prefer the alarm sound all the time.
I don't have that issue at all. Mine always rings no matter what and I never have had it vibrate. What setting do you have it set to? Mine is on escalating so I wonder if that may have anything to do with it?
