Hello, I need to disassemble my 8130 from verizon wireless so i can clean the dust from under the screen but I can only find guides for taking apart the 8100. So, I was wondering if the two processes are the same. It would really help if they were lol. Any response helps, thank you!

I believe the same method applies for taking apart the 8130. I noticed that most of the disassembly videos reference 81XX like a series.

I would suggest at least trying it. If you get to a part that looks different than your phone, stop, put everything back together and call Verizon to see if they can do it.

Believe me, I'm not trying to be funny. I ordered the parts to replace my housing but I'm not so sure I have the courage to take mine apart.

I guess I will have to just go for it then. Do you know if it uses the standard t6, like most phones, or is it something else?
