Hi, I got a pearl about 2 weeks ago used, it seems ok, but randomly it seems to shut down on me the hour glass keeps spinning and I end up doing a battery pull to get it going.

One time I was taking a pic, another time I can't remember what, other times I didn't pay it much attention.

in the about section it seem I am running : v4.5.0.78

Kind of makes me feel a little stressed as its new and it seem from endless reading that there is 1 millions different solutions.

Is this a known issue that has a solution.

I would be really bumed to wipe all my hard work installing the apps I need and stuff like that.

    Bummer

Remove the media card, reboot, then see what happens. Many times I've seen a device go into a reboot cycle due to a corrupted media card.

Also, what is your file free memory? I've seen low memory cause this on the Pearls, in particular. The early 4.5 OSes were fair in memory management, later build are usually more efficient. You might consider upgrading.
A file free below 5 mb is cause for concern.
