Very strange things are happening here and i'd appreciate all of your assistance! OK so when someone texts me the message tab will blink with the star and list that i have a new message - THEN almost immediately it disappears. At this time i also lose any number in the call log....

what's happening here...i need my text messages.

Go to options > status and post your file free.

Also do you have a memory card or are you storing things in the
phone memory? Things being music, pictures, videos, ring tones...

How many messages are you saving? Both SMS/MMS and email.
