    I have searched and can't find what I think I am looking for, but I got a Pearl with the 507 which i know is OS, and I have upgraded OS' on my own phone many times successfully but this phone is for a buddy and it is connecting, then pops up that it needs a password, but he didn't have one on there and I am not sure if there is a default?
    Bottom line i guess is that it keeps DM from finding the phone./
    Anyone have any advice?

    hmmm if it has a password on it that is tough because even CrackUtil and JL_Cmder make you type the password in before you could wipe it. Have you tried doing a wipe with JL? Also, have you tried maybe using loader.exe instead of DM?

    I have JL_Cmder, and tried Wipe and Reset to factory...nothing
    Is this Loader.exe here?

    loader.exe can be found in c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader

    hey I got it, found a page saying basicly how to backdoor that sumbuck....worked like a champ!
    i did it straight from the Loader shortcut.
