I would love to see this in the 10.3.1 update. To zoom in you swipe out with both thumbs on the keyboard to zoom in you swipe in. I think that that would be really neat. What do you think.

Good idea!
Should let you scroll on the apps like a classic trackpad and in the hub too

I've thought the same thing and have already tried, intentionally and unintentionally, to zoom with the keyboard.
Brought to you by...My sweet Passport
I didn't even think of that. That would be pretty cool. Man this phone is high tech
Yep great idea and very natural to try to do

That being said, what if we also had the option on the capacitive keyboard of "swipe up and right"? That will be amazing tooo!

I can't zoom with keypad.
I'd just as soon use the traditional 'I' and 'O' forth this.
Posted from my Q10.
I'd also like to see a way of controlling the home screens with the trackpad. Swipe left and right to skip through apps etc.
I have found myself trying to zoom on the keyboard, too. It just seems a natural step.
I wonder is some of these things will be included in the 10.3.1 update as bb10 will be updated to work properly with the classics trackpad. Still hoping they add mouse pointer support in the browser at least!
I doubt they will add pinch zoom though, unless the capacitive keyboard supports multitouch.

Since it can sense your fingers how about using k the keypad like a virtual keyboard not requiring you to press them in.

Has it been confirmed if the passport even has a multi-touch keyboard? If it's not multi-touch then that's a real big bummer. I cannot double swipe with both thumbs to delete 2 words like I can on my Z10. Maybe it's not implemented but I sure hope that it's not because it can't support it.
For what it is worth, the keypad is context sensitive. A quick press will bring up all apps or other contents related to the key. eg. press 'M' will bring up all apps, command, music, contact, etc. titles starting with 'M'.
Way faster than searching through contents. More of a direct approach than scrolling for apps, + much more.
Long press letters will do the usual user set quick dial.
With the recent 10.3.2 update I can say that this feature is enabled. Go on a website with both thumbs swipe out to opposite side to zoom in an swipe in back to zoom out.
NICE JOB BLACKBERRY!!!
9000----->Torch----->9900----->Z10------>Passport
Nice Feature !!
You know if i can do it outside the browser ? In a Image for example ?
I love this feature using both thumbs.
Keyboard works great for navigating through pages of apps as well. The only other thing that would be nice to see is if you do a quick swipe up on the keyboard it takes you to the active frames or home page. Just like swiping up on the screen does no matter what page of apps you are on.
