Expect poor battery life if you do.

    There is it http://forums.crackberry.com/showthread.php?t=965257

It sucks the battery only at start because it syncs everything after that it doesn't effect battery life

Right, you likely haven't used the apps lately to make an informed comment. My battery life is fine.

Let me guess.. you haven't used it?
Play services is in device monitor with 0.1% so what are you talking about you troll?
It's normal that for example clash of clans or other android apps eats more battery than a native app but play service has no impact to battery life.
So what did you say? "Get outta here"

No I have it installed on my Z30. It loses 3% every hour while idle overnight. No SIM and no SD card. I have a Passport as my daily driver so I use my Z30 for Android apps and games relying on Google services. If that's not battery drain then I dunno what is.

That's fantastic, great to hear about your experience! You do realize you're in the BlackBerry Passport forum in a YouTube thread referring to the BlackBerry Passport, right? So your experience with the Z30 is different, notwithstanding the battery with smaller capacity.

I don't think what phone it's on is relevant. Battery drain is battery drain, genius. It's the cause because after removing services the drain stopped.

Sure it does, smart one. With equal battery drain "level" you're going to see a bigger drop in percentage on the battery with a smaller capacity.

Here's my battery snapshot from today, YouTube used a massive 0.06% of the battery; I could feel the drain!

I hope this final screenshot settles the issue and can keep people like Shifty from spreading FUD. I watched one video on YouTube today and it remained in my active tiles.

I never said YouTube is the problem. I said having all of Cobalt's stuff installed is. Believe what you want but it destroys batteries. And it doesn't matter what phone I use to compare. Cry more because the world doesn't share the same opinion as you.

Crying? Nope. Please install all of Cobalt's apps and show me a battery snapshot with battery drain.

If Google Play Services, Whitelist, YouTube, or any other patched Google app drained battery, why are they all less than 1%?
