Same. Wish I could get youtube links in the browser to open in fasttube, that would be awesome.

Unfortunetly, fastube is not really well design and. Not really ergonomic either!!! I can't find a real good app on bbworld about youtube. I wish to have the same quality youtube third apps as windows phone. Metrotube, tubecast..... you can even watch it in 60fps.

I use fast tube often. On the positive side it is easy to use and quite functional. So far I have seen just one issue, when playing a video, after some time the video screen can change to video list screen or the subscribed channels screen, while the video keeps playing. To go back to the video being played I need to press the search button or another of the available buttons. Sometimes it goes back to the video played and sometimes doesn't, also this situation happens when playing long videos (1hr+). Not sure if it is a bug or something else.

It's best to just use the browser. With apps you get an extra layer of gumph.

Fast Tube needs to add a Playon feature to quickly cast it on to a TV.

Perhaps I like simplicity, but I actually think YouTube on the standard browser or via the default YouTube app (which is essentially the same thing) works perfectly fine. It's not resource-heavy and it's fairly fast & efficient.

Anyone else here use Supertube? You can preload videos on wifi for watching later if you're going to be without wifi for a while also it has a dark theme.

I'm using the full SuperTube on both my Passport and Z30. It is a great app and the developer is very responsive and helpful. I higly recommend it, since it allows you to log in to your account and manage subscriptions.

There is a free version so you can try it out and decide if you want to buy the full features. As far as I know, it's the only native client to allow Play on Smart TVs.

I've used an older version of the Android app as well, but it doesn't allow to log in to your account. The most recent version asks for Google Play Services.

IMHO, SuperTube is the best native solution, aside from the browser. BTW, you can choose different quality for videos, and also preset it for when on mobile or Wifi connections. Also check out the developer's website and sideload his app Download Manager.
