I got my passport in January. I am very happy with the hardware of the phone (Camera,Sound, Connectivity features, Call quality etc). But in case of speed of the phone..it is not looking like a 3gb phone. When I Open photos folder..it is taking 10-15 seconds to load!!! And also it is even hanging sometimes...This is where iPhone has superiority on..ios users njoy lag free software (only minor bugs which are negligible)

It could be the speed of the memory card that you have. This is where the speed makes a difference. Here, and while saving a picture after you've just clicked it.

Nope, mine doesn't open instantaneous but still fast enough. Is it possible you got a rather slow memory card installed? Not every SD card offers the same speeds and, with those rather high resolution photos of today, a slower card might delay loading times quite a bit.

Yes my Passport lags often and freezes often. I don't run android anymore hoping that would solve the problem. It didn't. For instance if I have twitter open and try to go to the hub to check an email the device freezes up. My phone app sometimes lags. If I hang up a call it will stay on the screen for about 10 seconds sometimes. Im very quick as far as movements on all my tech devices. I figured maybe Im just too fast for the device. I was sold on the 3GB of ram when I purchased the device. It seems like Im trying to do too much on the device at one time, but I figured it can handle the things im trying to do.

Try to use UHS-1 cards. I started off with a class 10 and saw a little lag. Since I started using a UHS-1 128 GB card, lag is now non-existent.

If a folder in file manager takes more than 10 seconds to open you have a problem. Unless Of course your accessing your pc via network in file manager could be plausible

There's NO WAY for a Passport to lag, except for leak OS bugs and the SD Card factor. Use OTA version to be safe, the latest one is VERY stable and cure a lot of previous "illnesses" like flickering, battery drains, etc. I am very new to BlackBerry after 8 years on Android (since HTC Dream). Passport is my very first BB ever, and I am extremely satisfied. It helps tremendously with my job (I'm a translator), and FastTube runs amazing in this phone as far as entertainment is concerned. I don't do games here, though. I put that on Android (S5). I use Passport for work and networking.
