80% native apps in my Passport. I find some Android apps suck the battery quickly so I keep them to a minimum.

Just a note, that Skype is not a native app (someone listed it as such).
If I install from Snap, itt looks the same.
Otherwise, the one in BlackBerry world is 5.0.507.54461
    Skype downloaded by Snap: 5.1.0.58677

I will how the android version works.
It looks to me it's not even a port in BlackBerry store, just the same line of apps.

All native. Also, I use the browser for a lot of things people would often use an app for. Plus, I don't use many apps as it is.

I'm finding more and more Android apps nowadays. Previously I was against using these apps but with the Google Play Store now available I've started to use many apps from there. Tell you what, I'm glad I have this option available. Banking apps, my local newspaper, local television stations, apps that were available on previous BlackBerry 10 devices (Flipboard) but aren't available on the Passport. I now have all of these apps available thanks to forward thinking by BlackBerry engineers.

I'm over the argument about Android apps running on BlackBerry devices. They enhance my experience and make my life easier. I'm at a 80/20 split BlackBerry/Droid ratio. I do use Ghost Commander after closing every Droid app though. Too many continue to run in the background after closing through normal means.

Search for Ghost Commander in the BlackBerry wolrd.

It can access the system folders, hence closing things not on the home screen.

You can transfer, copy files from your passport to remote computers over the Internet. That's what I use instead of a cloud. It's critical but even Ghost Commander seems to be an android port. It wants access to my location for no good reason!
I am not confident that it is secure because it remains almost always logged into my work computer and the file transfer rate is much lower than what I get through sftp.
I am not at all convinced that Ghost Commander does not make a copy of all the files I transfer between my work computer and my Passport somewhere in the cloud, just like Apple does with the pictures taken by an iphone.
The good thing about it is that it transfers all the files I copy from my remote computer to the download directory of the Passport, and cannnot do it to other directories.
Assuming BB10 prevents android app access from the rest of the phone, that may make my other directories on my SD card secure on the Passport. But I am not sure that my remote directories, on my work computer, are safe!

For me some of the side loaded android apps cause my Passport to reboot cycle! I've had call blocker apps do this a few times but since uninstalling the systems seems more stable now!
