Well, I am. I lost my passport a month ago and have been waiting for a slight price drop to re purchase. Hoping to get it new from amazon for $450. Although Im doing fine with a q5 cant wait to see it go for less; anyone know of a better place to get it new please let me know. Thanks.

Doesn't seem to me Amazon will lower to $450 anytime soon (but I could be wrong). It's at $512.99 currently. And, there's always a used one on eBay (and also new).

I say just go for it...how could you possibly live without a Passport for any longer!

The price will probably drop after the new Slider hits the market. Probably not immediately but in time.

The Z10 went hot at att 2 years and a month or two ago. I would estimate one a two year old memory that the price will drop 100 bucks in a month or two. A month or two or..... till Slider

A price drop would be nice.
Maybe a second Passport in red???
I could use that as a travel phone for swapping sim cards from different countries.

I don't think the price will go down for awhile. Because the specs are so good. Even with the slider coming out.

I just got mine for $449 from BlackBerry. It arrived today. I think that's a helluva deal for this phone. 2 months ago it was $599.

$549 - $100 coupon as mentioned earlier in the thread = $449. Check the BlackBerry sub on Reddit, that's where I got mine.

$450 should be easy. Bought a black Passport on launch and a red one in November during Black Friday. Paid $449 and $499 for them and that was months ago.

Just posted in the general forum. Seems like another shopblackberry sale is in the works with reductions on the Leap, Classic, and Passport as well as a reduction of the Q5 to $149 and Z30 back to $229.

The Passport will be reduced to $549 and you can coupon code it for $449.

The Passport is currently $549 on BlackBerry's store. They haven't reduced it since the "sale" began in May. I imagine this will be the new defacto price, since they initially announced the sales dates, then quietly announced an "extension" for another week, then the prices remained through the end of the month with no mention of a sale or extension, and we are now firmly into June with no mention of a "sale" ending or being extended. Because there is no mention of a sale, I have to conclude that the sale price is the new defacto price.
