I'll let this ride .. but I am keeping a close eye. As the writer said on the end note:

Actually BGR is making fun of the author....implying this is a hilarious rant about the Media's vengeful viewpoint on Blackberry. But in all honesty,the fan-boy who wrote this isn't that far off with his assessment!

Yup, this is a rant article about a rant. BGR is certainly not agreeing with the author, in fact they are mocking him. I'll agree that insulting the masses is never the most optimal way of getting support, however the original author does have a point on many fronts. The marketing machine is running things and is definitely making people feel that if they don't have X or Y they don't belong. I however feel that this applies to BlackBerry just as it does to the other brands. The difference is that the other brands have a much stronger presence in the market than BlackBerry, that's all.
