I would feel good if blackberry gave me the option. But I think I would stick with bb10 because it's so addictive. Sometimes I swipe just for the sake of it.

That's what I was hoping for (though it's unlikely to happen) - to have a choice! I have both the Passport and the Classic, and the Classic gets used way more than the Passport, so I'd use it for a test platform to see how BB's version of Android plays with the PKB and also to see how the hub works etc. I don't have $700 to shell out for a new Priv, and so this would be a way for me to try Android on a PKB phone without shelling out more money.

I love BB10 and would use it all the time if only one or two issues were worked out. That's not going to happen, so if BB were to release an Android Passport and the autoloaders were made available, I'd jump at the chance to try it.

In a heartbeat. Love the HUB, etc, but need access to latest apps. Emulation just isn't cutting it.

while i would try it and most likely revert back to bb10 as it just works for what i need it, it would be a really nice gesture from blackberry and imho the right thing to do for the ppl who invested in their os and 'ecosystem'. after all the original passport is barely a year old and the SE is just a few months old as well

Yes, if it gave me the option to switch back if I didn't like it. It would also have to include device/SD encryption, Hub, ability to toggle app permissions, and flip text.

No, if BB10 goes away, I'll go to Apple. QNX has to be in the base of the system, I'll use iOS if I can't have QNX, but not Linux. I hope the rumors are true that BB and Google are working on porting Android to QNX. Then I will look at it closely.

BB10 has to have applications for it to survive, there is no doubt about it. But I want security first, personally.

Probably not, I'd try it as long as it could be reverted. Like an autoloader kind of situation sounds exciting! It would all depend on how much berry they put into android ie the hub, file manager etc...

I think that now blackberry is working closely with google and the Priv is out maybe they will load google play services on bb10. It's more likely they do this than releasing a new android rom.

Here we go with another BlackBerry beta testing question again. I've always felt that the company somehow has forum posters pose these questions in advance, then feeds off the answers. Months ago it was, "If Android were on BlackBerry, would you buy it?" Now, we have the Priv. It will be interesting to see what comes from this. Especially, with what Chen said in the Fox Business News interview about feeding off what the "market" says. More like, feeding off of what CrackBerry Forums say.
