No, no and NO. Why would I drive in a rickety car if I have a comfortable car parked in the garage with no issues. Just saying. Have used android before but thank you and a BIG NO again.

I was one of the people that was disappointed with the BlackBerry software, as besides the lack of apps I also had double typing issue which was a software problem. Now with some updates the double typing is gone and the apps issue has been solved with the cobalt Play store. The thing is I am still not satisfied with the way we get the android apps because some don't work well while other make my phone behave weirdly so I need to restart it.
Having said that, I hate android. I don't think I will ever get an android phone. I will also avoid getting an iphone until it is absolutely the last resort so the only alternative is windows phone. I had a lumia before and I liked the OS but it lacks apps like BlackBerry, even though I don't know how windows 10 phones will do on that side. Still though, my current passport is the best phone I had.
The fact that BlackBerry ended up in a situation that it has a very good alternative hardware, better OS and still being completely wiped out in the smartphone market is just ironic. I will not put any android software on this phone, I will just wait to see how BlackBerry fares with the Priv and its plans for the future. But I am seriously thinking of buying another passport as a back up just in case they don't produce another phone again.

Not on my PP SE or other BB10 devices. No thanks. My priority is on security and privacy not apps. I still have use of a browser if I absolutely need to do something that BB apps don't allow.
Now, give me Venice (with BB10) during the Xmas marketing buzz for both and I am in (Hope springs eternal).

I have a passport with OS 10 and i Want Os10 on My passport.. No thanks!

I would to play with, but once the novelty wore off, I'd switch back...
There isn't anything that I'm dissatisfied with on bb10 but I get the tinkering bug that android provides...
At this time, no. I don't want to have to learn a new OS. That said, it would be an easier switch from Passport to Passport than having to get used to a new device and keyboard. Besides, I have only had my Passport since April, so I am quite content.

Yes Many many apps don't work on Blackberry Passport or work poorly like NY Times app.

Yes.
"Would you switch to Android on your Passport if BlackBerry released an Android version that worked?"
Nope! I'd turn to LG or Samsung if I wanted that.
Yes, I would. In fact I'm waiting to see if any such support will be available before I decide on the Priv.
Passport is great hardware, and so long as the typing experience is okay I could live with the other issues.

No chance, BB10 is a superior OS.

No
The Passport as it exists today is nearly perfect for me. I'd upgrade yearly if that option were available.

Yup, in a heartbeat. Until then, I have no desire to leave the Passport, it's just the most efficient device and the perfect size.

I sure hope that the zoo animals, or chimps, or whoever has been responsible for making the decisions at BB, are reading this thread...
Do not give up BB10! ;-)
No, I don't like android at all. The only reason that i use android apps on my passport is because the lack of apps in BB world.
So I ordered an iPhone 6 ( 64 GB) to close the app gap. I kept the boat off for a long time but now, because BlackBerry moved to android, i'm forced to iOS.
When the iPhone arrive, i deleted all the android apps from my passport for sure except Sygic navigation software.

Yes they have.
The sentence just above the "Contents" side bar states this:

BlackBerry 10 never caught on and only lost money for the company.
My answer to this thread is no. I'm staying OS10 until it dies.
No way. I want BB10.

Puhleez! Nope!
I understand why it's necessary given where they've taken themselves. I wish the company great success in this. But I used Android before returning to BlackBerry and have no desire to go back if I can help it. My data, and what I do are not in favour of being mined.

Yes. Unless dialer lag is fixed in the future. Otherwise BB10 works like charm and I don't use any android or Amazon app on my Passport.
