Absolutely! I have a BB Classic now. I'm a productivity guy and couldn't care less about gaming. Definitely going to upgrade to the Passport. To me, The Passport is like having a laptop in your pocket. Great device!

I am pondering purchasing a new SE before they sell out. I carry a blackberry and an apple device all the time too bad BB10 is going away love the OS and ease of navigation.

Just switched to my new SE after using the unlocked Passport since it was released. The SE looks great and the back cover feels better.

Yes. Except that I already have one. I may get another just to store away.

Caveat: I really don't care about apps.

I have another phone for apps as well, the PP is for business. Sending attachments.....etc.
might as well have a PP for an unused spare line.....

That's fair, but if BlackBerry had died on cue from the press years ago, my 9900 would still work.

Personally, I will never forgive Verizon for not getting the Passport. It is still my most wanted BlackBerry. One day I might have get our Blackberries unlocked, and jump to AT&T, and buy a Passport.

Would I still buy a Passport today? The answer is no. Because I bought one two days ago, and I don't require a second unit.

I looked at a colleagues Priv today and in comparison to my Passport, I thought what a flimsy, hot, and unimpressive device it is.
That said I'm concerned about disappearing Apps as this platform is edged out of existence. (that raises the other question, what is really needed on these damn squares and rectangles we use).
And therein lies the choice. I love this format and keys. It's the devil I know. Cobalts help aside (BTW all of those apps seems to crash on me), it harder for me to recommend this device,, unless you want to communicate with ease, get your mail and text and call.
If you want snapchat and the app of the moment (Pokmon go) then no.
So then the question..would I buy. This today...honestly I think I would buy it as it's something I am used to, and it follows the direction I am used to and has what I need (battery life and unified inbox).

Why yes, I would and did buy a Passport today.

Happened to catch a brand new in box Red edition for $400 and swooped on it before it vanished.
